Today's program;
Early morning transfer by coach from your hotel to Cape Jervis and continuation by ferry (45 minutes) to Kangaroo island.
Upon arrival, your guide will wait for you for an orientation briefing and then start the visit of the island.
During the tour you will encounter several different habitats and you will see numerous wild animals in their natural environment. Kangaroo Island is in fact an earthly paradise for wild animals as it does not suffer from the introduction of animals such as foxes and rabbits that do not belong to the Australian ecosystem and that cause numerous damages to local flora and fauna. You will hear the distinctive and unique calls of parrots and birds that echo from the centenary eucalyptus. In fact, about 250 different types of birds reside on the island, many of which, due to isolation, have even been classified as subspecies and are observable only on Kangaroo Island. During your tour you can observe echidna, wallabies, reptiles and numerous species of wild flowers and plants. Goannas, possums and wild geese also reside on Kangaroo Island.
In Seal Bay your guide will accompany you on an unforgettable walk on the beach where you can closely observe the sea lions of this colony resting on the beach or among the dunes of fine sand or playing chasing each other among the waves of the 'Ocean. This will be an unforgettable experience whose memory will remain indelible in your memory forever!
Lunch will be served amidst the pristine nature of Kangaroo Island where you can stroll among age-old eucalyptus trees and if you observe carefully you can also see some lazy koala resting.
You will then cross the island in the direction of the spectacular beaches of the north coast and walk among the wild nature in search of echidnas, tammar wallabies and with a little luck you could also spot the glossy black cockatoo, the rarest parrots of Kangaroo Island who live here undisturbed.
In the evening at sunset you will observe numerous kangaroos that abandon the fresh vegetation in which they spent the day undisturbed away from the sun to move in the pastures to graze the grass.
At the end of the day, arrival at the hotel.
