Madagascar- Light Trekking and sea
This interesting program includes light trekking in the Ankarana East National Park, a reserve that covers over 18000 hectares. It is home to 11 different species of Lemurs and other numerous mammals, different trekking circuits proposed according to the level of the guests to finish the stay with a few moments of relaxation by the sea and with the exploration of the Lokobe reserve, primary forest, and protected place.

Departure from Italy to Nosy Be with Ethiopian Airlines scheduled flights, meals, and overnight stay on board.
Arrival at Nosy Be international airport. Airport reception in Nosy Be, briefing and transfer to the West Coast Hotel in Nosy Be. Free afternoon.

Meeting at the Hotel in Nosy Be and transfer to the port of Hellville.
Boarding on a rapid lookout for exclusive Madaway use (40 min. of navigation), and arrival in Ankify. Departure from Ankify, heading north through ever-changing landscapes, from the coffee, cocoa, banana plantations to the Ravinala forests. You will cross the town of Ambilobe and continue to the village of Isesy, where you will veer towards the vest on the track until we reach Antsaravibé.
125 km of asphalt road (sometimes rough for about 15 km)
You will board the traditional pirogue built-in local wood along the Tsingy massif in front of the Lodge. You will be lulled by the current of the Mahavavy river admiring the landscape rich in flora and fauna; different species of birds including kingfishers or dragons considered here as the kings of birds, colorful butterflies...the ideal place for lovers of photography and unspoiled nature. From the lake, you will enjoy the magnificence of the colors at sunset in a serene and exciting calm environment.

Departure for a 30 - 35 minutes of walk to reach the panoramic point
d 'Ambatomiloloha through the paths of the massif, to discover the surrounding nature in all its splendor and its inhabitants. Arriving at the panoramic point, the breadth of the view will be surprising; the wooden benches
built by the staff of the Lodge are at your disposal to take an aperitif prepared for you with care, to better admire the magnificent decor that surrounds you.
The Iharana tent camp is the starting point for different and varied itineraries to discover the endemic nature of the Park.
Day dedicated to trekking in the vast territory of the Ankarana West Massif
through villages, admiring unique panoramas, and in contact with local people. Along the banks of Lake Mahatsabory, it will be possible to spot rare birds such as the Drongo, the Colibri ', kingfishers, and birds of prey. You will have the opportunity to observe the life of the village inhabitants engaged in their daily activities, growing vegetables, cotton, corn, and rice fields, skilled workers who still follow the traditional methods handed down from generation to generation
The park has a great variety of fauna including some species of lemur, such as various species of endemic plants.
Possibility of visiting the caves "of the Chameleon", the Tsingy massif in a pirogue, the Tsingy panoramic point, based on the time available and the physical skills of the participants, being in some areas a difficult and steep path. (two guides for trekking available)

Departure from Antsaravibé, heading north-east through the village of Isesy until reaching Mahamasina.

Visit of the Mahamasina park, located about halfway between Ankify and Diego Suarez with certified guide MADAGASCAR NATIONAL PARK.
The park is characterized by dry tropical forest, rough paths in the forest. The route varies, depending on the time available and the physical conditions, from 2.5 to 4 hours of walking.
Different circuits possible according to the level of the participants, in agreement with the guide, among which: the Perte de Riviere, the Tsingy Tower, the Tsingy Rary, the Suspension Bridge, and the "Bat Cave".
Picnic lunch, transfer to the hotel in Mahamasina.
Departure from Mahamasina, start of the journey south and arrival in Ankify through ever-changing landscapes, plantations, expanses of traveler's palms and villages, boat crossing to Nosy Be.

Nosy Iranja is located 1 hour and 30 minutes from Nosy Be by motorboat. These two islands (Nosy Iranja Be and Nosy Iranja Kely) are connected by a bank of fine white sand, covered during high tides and discovered during low tides. It is a paradise island with its turquoise colors of all shades and crystal clear waters. The turtles still come to lay their eggs there, thus giving rise to the name "turtle island".
Buffet lunch in the shade of coconut trees on the tropical island. Possibility of visiting the lighthouse which overlooks the islet offering a breathtaking view, and the traditional fishing village where life still takes place as in times forgotten. During the transfer by fast boat, you can admire the virgin coast of the great terra (Madagascar) and its kilometric wild beaches, the "pain de sucre" (large rock formation halfway) and Nosy Antsoa, an island still totally endemic and uninhabited, nest of various species of birds and sea eagles.
Collective visit to the Lokobe reserve.
The visit of Lokobe, primary forest and protected place of Nosy Be, with its numerous varieties of medicinal and endemic plants of Madagascar and its millenary trees. This forest will allow you to discover a dense entity of tropical forest, like a promoter... let yourself be guided within this preserved universe, to discover the nocturnal and diurnal lemurs (Macaque and Lepilemur), chameleon reptiles, insects, and tropical birds. Guaranteed land transfer to the fishing village of Ambatozavavy in the south of the island, from where you will embark aboard a traditional rowing pirogue along the mangroves to the foot of the East Lokobe reserve.
Return to the hotel.

The tourist entry visa is issued on arrival at Antananarivo or Nosy Be international airport.
The cost per stay of less than 30 days is Ariary 115,000 (approximately 35 Euros at the current exchange rate, variable according to the daily exchange rate) – to be paid in cash on arrival at the airport, in EURO, or in ARIARY.
It is necessary to have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel date.
No mandatory vaccinations are required, malaria prophylaxis is recommended.
The excursions, in case of bad weather or due to force majeure due to the state of the access tracks to the tourist sites, especially during the wet season, could be inverted with respect to the proposed agenda or replaced with other destinations of tourist interest.

Il Parco Nazionale Ankarana Est
La riserva si estende per circa 18.000 ettari, ubicato circa 30 km a Nord di Ambilobe e 150 km a sud di Diego Suarez.
È caratterizzata dalla presenza del massiccio dell’Ankarana, un complesso di pinnacoli rocciosi calcarei, denominati tsingy, soggetti a fenomeni di erosione da parte di una ricca rete di corsi d’acqua, in gran parte a decorso sotterraneo, che hanno dato vita ad un intricato sistema di caverne e grotte.
La riserva ospita 11 differenti specie di lemuri tra cui il microcebo di Sambirano (Microcebus sambiranensis) e il microcebo rosso settentrionale (Microcebus tavaratra), le cui uniche popolazioni note si trovano nel terrirorio della riserva, e inoltre il lemure di Sanford (Eulemur sanfordi), il lemure coronato (Eulemur coronatus), l’apalemure grigio (Hapalemur griseus), il microcebo murino (Microcebus murinus), il chirogaleo medio (Cheirogaleus medius), il valuvi forcifero (Phaner furcifer), il licanoto lanoso (Avahi laniger), il lepilemure settentrionale (Lepilemur septentrionalis) e l’aye aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis).
Altri mammiferi presenti sono il fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox), la mangusta dalla coda ad anelli (Galidia elegans), il tenrec.
Numerose le specie di pipistrelli che popolano le caverne, tra cui la “volpe volante” (Pteropus rufus), e uccelli.
Le grotte del massiccio servirono da rifugio alla popolazione Antakarana, etnia locale, contro il tentativo di unificazione Merina di Radama I (1810-1828)

Réserve de Lokobe
La visita di Lokobe, foresta primaria e luogo protetto di Nosy Be, con le sue numerose varietà di piante medicinali ed endemiche del Madagascar e i suoi alberi millenari.
Questa foresta vi permetterà di scoprire un’entità densa di foresta tropicale, come un rito promotore, lasciatevi guidare all’interno di questo universo conservato, alla scoperta dei lemuri notturni e diurni (Macaco e Lepilemur), rettili camaleonti, insetti e uccelli tropicali. Trasferimento terrestre assicurato sino al villaggio di pescatori di Ambatozavavy a sud dell’Isola, da dove vi imbarcherete a bordo di una piroga tradizionale, a remi, lungo le mangrovie sino ai piedi della riserva Est di Lokobe.
