CREA IL TUO VIAGGIONorway- Trekking in the Jotunheimen National Park / The Green Path
A 6km DIY trek designed for medium fitness walkers with basic skills for excursions and outdoor activities. This route takes you straight into the heart of Jotunheimen across the magnificent Lake Bygdin to the high peaks through adventurous valleys. The tour will take you to some of Jotunheimen’s historic sights, scenic spots and trails that have inspired climbers and artists for centuries. The route is 40 km round trip with another 10 km of optional excursions, climbing the magnificent Mount Bitihorn (1607 m.)and through the valleys of Svartdalen and Veslådalen to end with the discovery of Lake Bygdin. Optional excursion to Bukkelægret and Gjendetunga (1516 m).
Minimum 2 participants
Arrival by bus from Oslo, check-in and dinner at the Bygdin Hotel.
5-8 hours excursion to Bitihorn Mountain, dinner and overnight stay at the Bygdin Hotel.
Cruise from Bygdin to Torfinnsbu: 09:05 am -09: 50 am.
6-8 hour excursion from Torfinnsbu to Gjendebu through the Svartdalen valley.
Accommodation and dinner in Gjendebu.
Optional excursion to Gjendetunga (5.5 km round trip, 3-4 hours)
Optional excursion to Bukkelægret (10 km, 6-8 hours). Take the boat cruise to Memurubu (08: 35-08: 55 am) and return to Gjendebu. Ticket for optional excursions not included.
Dinner and overnight stay in Gjendebu.
Cruise to Gjendebu
5-7 hours of excursion from Gjendebu to Eidsbugarden (Fondsbu DNT)
Accommodation and dinner in DNT lodge.
In the morning Cruise to Bygdin, in the early afternoon transfer by bus to Oslo.
