Trekking along the “way of the dromedaries”
A mixed program of trekking and dromedary rides to end with 4×4 experiences, ideal for those who want a first experience with the vast and varied panorama of the great south of Morocco, the route winds through the high atlas, Saharan regions, and pre-Saharan, from Marrakesh to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou up to the oasis of the Draa and the majestic dunes of Ch’gaga.

Arrival in Marrakesh, after handling customs formalities, meeting with the local assistant, and transfer to the hotel. Briefing on the scheduled program. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to the fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou and a World Heritage Site, through the Central High Atlas (Tizi n’Tichka pass), the wide Telouet valley, and the steep canyons of the Ounila valley. Guided tour of the Ksar, lunch and subsequent departure to the Draa valley, to spend the night in the village of Agdz, home to a colorful traditional market, with a visit to the evocative kasbah of Tamnouggalt.
After breakfast, towards the desert towards the Saharan village of M’hamid, with a stop along the way
at the Zagora oasis. Beginning of the camel excursion. Overnight stay in a tent.
Breakfast and departure, first stop at the Sidi Naji marabout site, where you will arrive crossing the course of the Draa river, accompanied by dromedaries and camel drivers for the transport of luggage and equipment. Overnight stay in a tent.
You will spend the next three days among the beautiful dunes of Erg Smar and Erg Zehar, along the ancient slopes of the nomad caravans, with evenings around the fire to explore the beauty and harmony of nights in the desert, accompanied by the rhythm of traditional music and the vibrant sound of the wind on the dunes. Overnight stay in a tent.
You will spend the next three days among the beautiful dunes of Erg Smar and Erg Zehar, along the ancient slopes of the nomad caravans, with evenings around the fire to savor the beauty and harmony of nights in the desert, accompanied by the rhythm of traditional music and the vibrant sound of the wind on the dunes. Overnight stay in a tent.
Breakfast and return to M’hamid, where the 4x4 vehicle will await us for the return journey to Marrakech, after a last day of relaxation in the quiet town of Ouarzazate (on request: hammam and massages).

Also accessible to less experienced hikers, however, good physical preparation and the habit of community for trekking days in the desert are recommended.
Document needed: For travel to Morocco, a valid passport is sufficient – with a residual validity of 6 months. Visa-free entry is permitted for tourist stays of up to three months.
