Departure from Italy with an international flight. Meals and overnight stay on board.
Arrival in Delhi. Meeting at the airport with our local correspondent. Transfer to the Hotel and free time to rest.
Early in the morning, transfer to the domestic airport for a domestic flight to Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Arrival and transfer by jeep to the hotel. Free day to rest and acclimatize. Overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will visit the Shankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa and the Tsemo Castle. Shankar Gompa was the first Gelug-pa monastery ("yellow caps", a Lamaist Buddhist school born in 1500) built in Ladakh, that leads all the monasteries in the region. Shanti Stupa was built by a Japanese Buddhist community and was inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in 1985. Stay at the hotel.
Breakfast and transfer to Stok (about 2 hours). On arrival, visit of the village followed by the trek to Manikarmo. Overnight stay in a tent.
Breakfast and acclimatization day with free activities. Overnight stay in a tent.
Breakfast and departure for the base camp. Overnight stay in a tent.

You will climb to the Kangri peak (6100 mt).
Day of rest. Overnight stay in a tent.
Breakfast and descent to Stock, on the way visit of the Stok museum and transfer by car to Leh. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Breakfast and flight to Delhi, arrival, and hotel accommodation. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and check-out, in-time transfer to the airport.

The itinerary may be subject to changes based on weather conditions, roads, the days of closure of the sites visited, or flight/train times for internal transport, if any.
The check-in in the hotels is usually at 02:00 pm and check out at 12.00 am. To access some temples it is required to remove shoes and socks.
Gratuities are not mandatory but are recommended for drivers and guides.
To participate in this trip you need an Indian visa and a passport valid for 8 months with at least three free pages and two passport photos 5 x 5 and a duly completed and signed online form.
The original passport, form, and photos must be sent to GO ASIA one month before the departure of the trip.

given the particular nature of our travel proposals, the daily programs must be considered as a guideline. A series of variable factors that distinguish traveling to high mountain regions in remote areas (prohibitive weather conditions, landslides, communication interruptions, etc.) can jeopardize the safety of participants and consequently impose changes to the planned itineraries. The organizer is entitled to make any changes to the program that security needs require or where they are forced by other events (such as cancellation of flights and the like). In particular, in case of cancellation of domestic flights, any re-routing by helicopter and/or by land is subject to a supplement.
