This program offers a 6-night stay in the seaside area of Flic en Flac for a relaxing holiday to be combined with daily trekking excursions in the nearby areas that will allow you to savor the wonders that Mauritius can offer with light trekking routes suitable for everyone. It is possible to visit the beautiful and wild mountain Le Morne Brabant declared a World Heritage Site, enjoy breathtaking views from Black River Peak and experience an adventurous swim in the Tamarind waterfalls.

Villa Caroline beach hotel is located by the ocean in Flic en Flac area, within 3 mi (5 km) of Flic-en-Flac Beach and Cascavelle Shopping Center.
It is about 40 minutes by car from the main trekking excursions.

Le Morne Brabant is a mountain located in the southwest of Mauritius, on the Morne Peninsula. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since July 2008, the site is a sanctuary for slaves who escaped from slavery and who committed suicide by jumping off the mountain cliff. Also under private ownership, Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains on the island. It is the ideal habitat for a wide variety of local and limited indigenous species such as the rare Trochetia Boutonania, which represents our floral symbol!
The hike to the top of Morne Brabant lasts from three to four hours, depending on the tranquility and homogeneity of the group. Once at the top, we will admire the breathtaking view to the west, towards the lagoons to the southwest and a part of the island!

We will start our hike in the Plaine Champagne plateau. From here, we will move towards the top of Mauritius, the Black River Peak at 828 meters. Overlooking the island, we will admire the panoramic and breathtaking view towards the colorful lagoons present to the west and south-west of the island, and equally beautiful the lush vegetation of the Chamarel National Park and its surroundings. We will continue our journey on a fantastic bike path to reach another beautiful unspoiled place, the Grand Piton. The easiest part of the hike begins as soon as we descend towards Black River Gorges National Park. Halfway downhill, we will enter a splendid and fascinating forest, with only endemic and local species. This place will give you an idea of what Mauritius used to be like. Continuing downhill, we will reach the most spectacular viewpoint of the Black River Gorges.
Located in the rocky area of the Mountain, surrounded by native species of the place, we will contemplate the three Gorges of our National Park while we will enjoy a fresh and healthy lunch! In this unspoiled area of Mauritius, we often give the opportunity to see many of our local birds, such as the beautiful Mauritian Kestrel.
Our journey will continue until the moment we reach the National Park valley, where we can have fun and swim vigorously in the cool and clear waters of the "black river" before reaching the visitor parking, where your mind will fill with memories of the moments. unforgettable experiences of this Great Discovery excursion.

The Tamarind Falls , also called the 7 falls, represent an adventurous excursion to the heart of the island. It is a total immersion in the tropical forest, where we will discover the seven Tamarind waterfalls one after the other. After the second waterfall, we will have the opportunity to have fun with a little swim in the natural pools that the water has dug into the rocks!
