CREA IL TUO VIAGGIO TROVA AGENZIATrekking trips in Nepal – Annapurna solidarity / Fixed date 17 October
A great trek that meets one of the most “historical” eight thousand in the whole of the Himalayas and combines it with a solidarity experience. Annapurna was in fact the first 8000er to be conquered by man. The French Herzog and Lachenal reached the summit on 3 June 1950, thus kicking off the great eight-thousand-meter race, a race that in just over 10 years led to the ascent of all the mountains higher than eight thousand meters. This program was born from the desire to make a small but significant contribution to a solidarity project started for some time now by the “Step by step” association, which with determination has dedicated itself to the cause of a Nepalese school strongly affected by the 2015 earthquake. trekking program is preceded by a visit to the school and, for those who wish, participation in solidarity purchases for the school itself during the first days in Kathmandu. The participation fee for the trip will be donated to the association to contribute to the budget available for purchases. The proposal includes 4 days of trekking with a medium / simple difficulty suitable for all trained people, the routes generally last 4/5 hours with the exception of the Ulleri stretch in Ghorepani which requires 7/8 hours of walking. Reaching Poon Hill at 3210 meters to witness the sunrise, a truly unique and memorable experience. There will also be the opportunity to visit the capital Kathmandu with the inevitable visit of the Boudhanath and the Pashupatinat, accompanied by an Italian-speaking guide. The trip ends with a free day in Kathamandu, for those who wish it is possible to visit an orphanage that our local correspondent helped to build, spending time with the children. This trip offers Nepal, a little jewel of the Asian world, in all its beauty and humanity: the visit to the school and the meeting with the children transmits an indescribable emotion, read the joy in their eyes, share a day with them, will remain an indelible memory. To contribute to this magic we cannot forget the beautiful views that Annapurna will give us during our short trek.
