The highest volcanic massif in Africa, it offers spectacular panoramas and emotions. The Machame route is one of the least traveled and most demanding, but rewarded by the incomparable panoramas, foreseen with overnight stays in tents.

Arrival and accommodation at Mountain Inn. Meeting for the pre- trekking briefing.
Beginning of the trek from the entrance of Machame (1800mt) through the forests.
(trekking: 5-7 hours ,around 9 km)
Continue through the grassy moor through the Shira plateau
(trekking: 5-7 hours ,about 7 km)
Continue trekking to Campo Burranco (trekking: 6-8 hours, about 10 km)
Acclimatization day to prepare for the steep ascent of the Burranco wall (trekking: 3-5 hours, about 6 km)
A short walk in the steep areas and rocky slabs through the alpine desert. (trekking: 4-5 hours about 4 km)
Around midnight start of the trek to the summit up to Stella Point (5740m) and then continue to Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descent towards the Barafu campsite (trekking: 13-15 hours, about 19 km)
Continue your descent through the mountain forest area to the Mweka gate (1680 m). Transfer to Moshi. (trekking: 3-4 hours, about 10 km)
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
