Go Trekking and sea in Bali – Special August
A complete journey immersed in the beautiful nature of Bali, during the excursions in the forests it will be possible to admire temples, waterfalls, rice terraces and at the same time go trekking and a short canoe trip and finally admire the sunrise on the top of Mount Agung. The program ends with a relaxing stay on the beautiful beaches of Bali.

Arrival in the afternoon at Denpasar's Ngurah Rai international airport where you will be greeted by the local guide and transferred to the Ubud area.
Free afternoon for relaxation.
In the evening (around 07:00 pm), welcome dinner in a traditional house, reserved only for you. You will have the opportunity to get to know the locals and learn different things about Balinese culture. Overnight in Ubud.

Breakfast at the hotel
Around 08:30 am you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and then leave for the beautiful rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Here you will have the opportunity to take a light 1 hour walk through the rice fields of this UNESCO site and learn all about the subak style of rice production in Bali.
The journey continues until you reach a secret place in the Bedugul rainforest, which is located in a lush green area. You will cross the jungle to observe tropical vegetation such orchids, plantations of medicine and much more. Your guide will accompany you to the depth of the Balinese heart.
Finally you will put the canoes in the water with the aim of reaching the most picturesque temple in Bali - Ulun Danu Temple. This important Hindu Shivaite temple is located on an islet amid the calm waters of Lake Beratan. When the water level is high (normally during the rainy season) one has the impression that this 17th century temple is "floating" on the lake.
Being in a canoe you will come very close to the temple. To end the day, a sumptuous packed lunch by the lake.
(*) It is recommended to bring trekking shoes and please be careful of the rice terraces which can be wet and slippery.
Return to the hotel to prepare for check out.
Late afternoon transfer to the Munduk area.
Free dinner. Overnight stay in Munduk.

After breakfast at the hotel you continue with a day of trekking that will cross a combination of ecological highlands and wet agriculture. The journey will last about 6-7 hours and will develop on a narrow path. As you proceed deeper into the dense tropical rain forest the landscape changes with an incredible panorama on the rice terraces and open views of the north coast of Bali. A packed lunch will be served on the go.
Arrival in the village of Banjar in the late afternoon where you can enjoy a bath in the sacred thermal springs.
From the tarmal waters of Banjar you will be transferred by car to the Buddhist monastery Vihara.
The journey continues to Lovina, the area of black sand beaches where you will spend the night.
Relax in the hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Lovina.

Breakfast at the hotel
Start of the excursion from Menyali to the Sekumpul area. Today you will pass through a rural village where you can watch the production process at home of the artifacts specially designed by the Menyali people. Continue to observe the panorama until you reach the village of Lemukih by the path in the rice field.
Walks in nature, following the small paths that cross the rice fields and coffee plantations, with spectacular views along the way. The journey continues with the descent into the valley, along a winding path, and then take the path that leads to the five grandiose waterfalls of Sekumpul. During this trekking route you will have to go through the deep rivers of the jungle.
Enjoy the fantastic landscape or take a refreshing dip in the waterfalls. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit!
After the packed lunch, you will leave the falls behind to climb the steep steps until you get to your car.
Transfer to the Kintamani area. On the way you will stop to visit the Jagaraga Temple, the only temple in the north of Bali with authentic reliefs.

At 03:30 pm short transfer to the starting point.
Upon arrival, a full briefing with your guide on path safety. The first section crosses the jungle before climbing up to the volcanic rocky path. The route is mostly uphill, but with several opportunities to stop and rest. After about two hours of ascent you will approach the top of the main crater. Here you will find completely different terrain, a wind-shrouded path with few rocks and vegetation.
Around 06:00 pm, while you wait sitting on the top (1717 meters), you will witness the magnificent, long awaited sunrise on Mount Abang and Mount Agung. On clear days, Rinjani di Lombok can also be spotted in the distance, across the Lombok Strait.
A simple breakfast of hot coffee or tea will accompany you while enjoying the view.
Resume the excursion on a small steep path towards the western slopes of Batur, stopping on the road to a second crater since the 2001 eruption. Continue to descend until you reach the youngest crater in 1999 with its smoking cone. Take the time to observe the lava field surrounding the volcano. The last part of the trek will take place through the seas of black lava sand to the end point of the volcano's slope.
Going down you will have time to swim in the warm waters of the local spring near Lake Batur (it is recommended to bring your swimsuit and a change) before returning to the hotel in Kintamani, where you will have time to prepare for check-out . Lunch at the hotel. Relax before checking out.
In the afternoon (around 15.00) you will be transferred to the Sidemen area. During the trip you can visit the Besakih temple, known as "the mother temple of Bali". Over 1000 years old, this temple is located about 1,000 meters on the volcanic slopes of Mount Agung, the largest mountain on the island. Besakih is the largest temple in Bali and includes 23 individual but related temples. Every day pilgrims can be seen praying in this place of worship and, on the occasion of special ceremonies, there could be thousands of people who come to pay homage to the gods.

You will jump into village life with a visit to a local house. You will witness the work of the weavers while they create splendid fabrics using the ancient techniques handed down through the generations.
Afterwards, free time to visit the famous rice fields of Sidemen. You can take a short hike, which can last 30 to 90 minutes, crossing the green fields and enjoying the spectacular views of the beauty of Bali. Along the way, the guide will explain the rice life cycle and its important role in the culture of Balinese cuisine.
After this panoramic trek, you will have the opportunity to deepen the agricultural traditions of Bali. Roll up your sleeves and head in the fields to help farmers plant, harvest crops or plow the fields. Continue through the village for the most fabulous practical experiences. Learn to bid on temples, a regular part of the local life of the spiritual people of Bali. Try climbing a tree to collect coconuts or you could be of assistance in a blacksmith's workshop.
Join a local chef to prepare authentic Balinese dishes, such as sambal, the island's beloved spicy sauce, grilled satay meats and laklak, a very good dessert. Sit down for a delicious lunch with these home-cooked dishes and other fresh, traditional dishes.
In the evening (around 07:00 pm) a farewell dinner will be held in the hotel restaurant.
